Somebody is Pregnant - Prental Yoga

A boy or a girl?  It doesn't matter - what matters most is to have a healthy baby and mom.

I amso excitedand delighted to find out that one of my previous prenatal students is now pregnant again!!  And with her help, my teachers in training will be able to see and witness how different poses are adjusted to safety orient the mom and baby.

Here are a few benefits about Prenatal Yoga:

Not only is this a special time for mom to connect with her baby-to-be, it is very safe with a qualified instructor.

The labyrinth

"Your life is a sacred journey. And it is about change, growth, discovery, movement, transformation, continuously expanding your vision of what is possible, stretching your soul, learning to see clearly and deeply, listening to your intuition, taking courageous challenges at every step along the way. You are on the path... exactly where you are meant to be right now... And from here, you can only go forward, shaping your life story into a magnificent tale of triumph, of healing of courage, of beauty, of wisdom, of power, of dignity, and of love.

Transformation out of Darkness

It has been a while since I have blogged.  My mom, who I love dearly has been ill and in a hospital a distance away.  My amazing dad has been there for her each and every day.  Not knowing what is going on brings on emotional stress, darkness and tears.

I think every person on earth has gone through really tough times of crisis.  When it comes to a health crisis, it changes your perspective on life.

I've always appreciated and find gratitude in my health on all levels, but sometimes, something as big as this really "gets you in the gut" and makes you stop and put your priorities in order.

July

"a great relaxation meditation for yoga written by Louise L HayThis month, I celebrate my own independence. I choose to be free of all negativity, anger, fear, insecurities, jealousies--and any thought that makes me feel "less than." I no longer choose to live in the prison of my mind. I choose thoughts of love, joy, prosperity, and unlimited creativity and opportunities." - Louise L. Hay

Amazing note found at the labyrinth at Kripalu

Rock, note found - a journeyMimi reading inspiration note at Kripalunote of inspirationLast weekend I walked the labyrinth at Kripalu in Stockbridge MA.  This note was under some rocks.  Read, feel, and notice how powerful these words are.  I don't know the author of this note.  Write down the words "I am" and then see what flows for you.

A Circle of LovingKindness Meditation

Meditation - Circle of LovingKindnessThis May will be my 22nd anniversary with my husband Mark.  As I look back at our special day, I remember the greatest gift received on that day...  A song played by Phil Collins, "Groovy Kind of Love".  It wasn't the song that was so extraordinary, it is what happened during the song.

My husband and I were slow dancing and everyone from the reception started making this huge circle around us.  As the song continued, they moved closer and closer to us until me and Mark were enclosed in this circle of friends, love and hugs.
