Class Fees: $8.00 per class/per person, with the exception of:
 
 "Get Fit While You Sit Chair Yoga" is $5.00 per class, as well as: PrenatalKids Yoga and Intro to Slow Flow Yoga is $60.00 for 6-week sessions.  Privates, Semi-Privates, Yoga Therapy Physical Body Assessments and Corporate Yoga have separate pricing.  Please contact State of Grace Yoga & Wellness regarding their fees/policies. 
 
Friday & Saturday afternoons/evenings are reserved for workshops and serenity parties.

Class Cards can also be paid by cash or check at the studio.  Credit cards are not accepted at my home studio.
 
All Classes are "drop-in" except Pre-Registered Classes, Workshops, Privates, etc.  
 
Drop-in's must arrive at least 15 minutes prior to class as doors will be locked at the start of class. 
 
For your convenience, if you prefer to reserve your mat space you can email Mimi or sign up at class for the next class. 
 
If you need to cancel:  If you signed up for a class to reserve your mat space and can't make it, please contact Mimi asap, so I may offer the spot to someone else.

What is so different about De-Stress with Yoga?
When you practice yoga at De-Stress with Yoga, one of the first things you will notice is that the class sizes are kept small, the setting is intimate, and non-intimidating.  With the limited class size, you will receive the utmost attention to build your practice.  
  
At De-Stress with Yoga, you will find students doing the same pose, asana, and I provide variations to fit the needs of the individual students.  
 
We are all unique bodies - we all have unique needs.
 
All classes offer modifications to suit your needs, including stress level and limitations.
 
Each class also offers special tips for those who want to add more dynamics to deepen their practice.
 
During the cooler months, enjoy a heated eye pillow to rest in bliss during Savasana, with no added cost.  Let the worries from the day melt away.

Doors open 30 minutes prior to class and doors are locked at the start of class.
 
All Classes at De-Stress with Yoga include:
Modifications and options to avoid injury.  Every class ends with relaxation techniques, meditations, and/or guided imagery.   Each student enjoys Savasana (final relaxation) with a bolster, eye pillows, blankets and/or neck rolls for added comfort and luxury - with no extra cost.  We love to be extremely comfortable.  Aroma therapy lotions - smells so good in final relaxation.  Go home feeling good.
 
Chilled bottled water is available if you forget to bring one ($1.00). 
The temperature of the yoga room ranges from 68 - 74 degrees.

Class Policies
  • Please arrive to class 15 minutes early to sign in.
  • Please do not chew gum/candy
  • Please refrain from heavy perfumes/scents
  • Please turn off cell phones
  • Try not to eat a large meal at least 1-2 hours prior to class.  If you eat prior to the class, just eat lightly.
  • Attire:  wear comfortable layered clothes: shorts, t-shirts, sweatpants, tank tops
  • Notify the instructor of all special conditions and injuries

Yoga For Vets Program - I provides *4 free yoga classes for any new student who is a military war or combat veteran that served or are currently serving in the United States military.  I care about our returning troops and prior war vets.  This is my small way of saying "thank you" and welcome back to America.  At best, some vets are finding yoga helps symptoms of PTSD and trauma.  At the least, yoga is fun and healthy.  (This program is for the schedule listed above, including chair yoga.  Specialty classes & private sessions are not included.)
